Wow these comments are something. đ Everyone is reaching their breaking point it seems⊠Thatâs what in my book constitutes as a good story. When you drive your readers to madness. đ It wonât be too long now before it will all be worth the wait. And for those that are very angry with Riftan, donât forget the man behind the first book and that extra POV of his. He has his own reasons. Wether right or wrong on some points. But this man unconditionally and irrevocably loves Maxi. This is a story about 2 people whoâs love remains constant and unchanged through all the hardships. Hold on to that.
Hereâs the protection trope, yet again. Donât get me wrong, Iâm a fan of the book, but tbh, Iâd like Riftan more if they showed a bit more of the book from his perspective. The book drags on because they donât have the âclimaxâ discussion. You can still have a plot while letting your main protagonists resolve their issues.
Iâm so not on board with his behavior. Ignoring her is like deliberately hurting her. And I dislike that it is being done to âprotect herâ . It just a bunch of bs. She needs to teach him a lesson and a good one at that. I mean a good scare would be great. I donât know⊠maybe leave and donât tell him or learn to teleport LOL! I need him to suffer. This guy is on my bad side right now and so are the knights. Betcha itâs about Breaton and the duel. Perhaps is coming to war terms between nations and his afraid she might wanna enlist for that too! LOL! Still he hasn ât learn and I need her to be amazing without anyone holding her back.
the comments are on point! webnovel is not the best format for this book. the chapters cutting off as they do make Riftan look so negative. at this point it is abusive, i dont know if that is how i view it as an american but to me i wouldnt have been able to keep going with being ignored,lied to and belittled for my choices. that isnt love, she layed it all out and he chose to ignore her smh. He Knows how she was treated prior to marriage and would chose to keep her locked away.
