i am in the same train of thought as maxi, it is inconsiderate to leave without even one time checking in with her. I hope there is redemption for Riftan because the more this story goes the more i see him stiffling her and trying to clip maxi's wings. she works so hard too and yet he never acknowledges it

Is Calto gonna bring up the Golum Rune she created? we canr possibly be done with that yet. And we're did Riftan run off too, it had to be important to not return to Maxi at once...

Relationship between Riftan and Maxi was the main reason that I loved this book. Now it gets to expensive to read constatntly about their misunderstandings. I'm getting tired of this. So for now I say to the author thank you and goodbye.

Just when I think there is nothing left to surprise me, Suji Kim brings out old Calto and his "private conversation", and Riftan leaves Maxi in a hurry. I love this book and the way it always manages to have the most interesting cliffhangers.

Why?? Why can’t Maxi and Riftan have their time together? Well once they do get their time together I will be FREAKING OUT!

I must admit that I expected more from this chapter. Writer, you should not leave us hanging like this! Riftan left, don't know why, and then left alone to discuss something with Calto, not even a hint why. If feels as if chapters not moving and making it very co fusing with events that only lead to unresolved matters.
