I know Riftan and Agnes are together for work. Riftan has assured Maxi there's nothing between them but Riftan needs to assured Ages with her presence around him all the time makes Maxi uncomfortable.

I am so so done. Chapter after chapter of the same old stuff. If you don’t wanna move forward with Maxi and him, fine. At least move quicker through the war story. We are still where we were like 5 chapters ago. It wouldn’t be such a pain if the chapters released quicker, I could binge read it.

At this point, if I were in Maxi's shoes, I would seriously be considering divorce. He has not consistently been giving her the affection that she deserves, and right now, I honestly hate him for being so unwilling to talk through issues or compromise. He's totally unwilling to acknowledge her side of things or her emotions. Maxi can honestly do much better. This story used to be so good. Now it's just frustrating 😒
