Bruh! We finally get some communication and the chapter ends! I need more!!!!

Yes, now we are getting somewhere!! He burns for her and she did well to just continue looking after the others so that he could process her being there. Now the conversation!!! He is a night, she is a mage, whether he likes it or not. She needs to stop coddling the strongest night in the realm, he needs to let her do her work. They would really complement eachother on the battlefield if they could accept each other strengths.

I wonder if the others are hearing them quarreling. But these chapters are getting shorter and the argument is still going to continue to the next chapter and I love that Maxi is standing up for who she really is and what is her duty as a mage.

I love Maxi but...... Seriously?! He's been training since he was twelve and she thinks she can compare herself to him because she's been training for what? About 3 years? I'm so happy and supportive of her endeavors and I love that she wants to be constantly by his side to support him. BUT... and I say this with love. If she can't stop rushing headlong into danger without thinking about her own safety and the safety of others around her let alone the consequences then she still has a lot to learn to be able to stand supportively by his side. And calling him a fool was a low blow. One shouldn't call another a fool when one is acting like one themselves. Just my opinion.
