You know I really liked the beginning of this story. Maxi had so much growth in the first volume. 50+ chapters in, all I see is her being naive. really? I get that she held onto the first monster. but she actually jumped into a secret passage way? why would she think that Kuahel was righteous? He has goals he needs to do by HOOK OR BY CROOK. never trust such a man. I'm tired of her being forced into situations. She actually learned magic but still such a push over. =.= needs neurons and a spine
At first I thought Kuahel’s role was to create some fun love triangle situations… but now I see he’s there to show maxi how nice it is that Riftan and the RDK actually care about her and worry about her even as she is struggling to find her independence. Like Kuahel I get the whole ’this mission will change the war’ thing but like you could slow your walking pace down a little and maybe check in on the mage that’s helping you find important scouting info that you wouldn’t get otherwise….

Does anyone else feel like the monster city, and how they keep showing these monsters aren’ just animalistic but organized, might lead to peace talks with the dark wizards and the monsters? Bc they are just chilling in their own peninsula, not bothering anyone, and yet the kingdoms might be trying to invade them… I feel like this chapter showed that Max may have more sympathy for the monsters than the knights
okay so this is the way to Bond with kuahel. I think it's good thing for maxi to be away to riftan and RDK to grow more and maybe she'll know more about kuahel, Learn more from him. I wonder what would Riftan think or Do when he got the news from Elliot that maxi and kuahel separated from them and maxi kuahel together just the 2 🤔🤔🤔 a twinge of Jealousy, Concerned for her safety !
