i had the feeling from book 1 that Khuael likes Maxi. or may be wants to annoy Ruftan a bit through her. but he’s definitely interested, but i can’t find any clues about it. and now i have the feeling that Miriam is envious and likes Maxi, but is very proud to show it. how on earth is she so adorable that everyone likes her? 😁 i’m glad that Riftan finally found reason to behave normal again - it was really painful to read how he’s tormented be all these. i hope he’ll keep watch on her from now on.
I'm DONE reading this book! And DONE using this ridiculous scam of an app!!! I paid extra for privilege chapters, first to read 2 ahead and then 5, and DID NOT actually get to read ahead more than 2 chapters, ONCE! Then during the "privilege period" that I wasn't even getting to read ahead, just a chapter each time one was released, it was always using my coins (a LOT for each chapter) instead of the fast passes I needed to use before they expired. Every day my fast passes were expiring because I couldn't use them, either because this book wouldn't let me use them to unlock chapters (I guess because of the "privilege status") or there were no chapters released to use them for... Now, for over a week at least,the stupid app keeps showing me that there's a new chapter released but when I try to unlock it, all I get is the stupid "to be continued" message page!!!
Alright I had my suspiscions but now I am sure of my theory (don't read anymore if ever I am right and spoil it for you) . . . . . I think there is a spy with then, a dark mage. And I think it is Anette. At first I thought it was Myriam but what happened befire the blizzard was definitly a trap. Ans the fact Anette is trying to delay and have them go to the city... well it's convinient to kill them before they deliver the news and prepare for war.
