Poor Maxi, it’s moments like these I want hit Riftan but I understand where he’s coming from with his behaviour. But wow Maxi has grown so much that she tried to talk to her husband while he’s clearly angry. Maxi has come a long way from her shy, anxious self to a far more brave and determined. But this inaction was so awkward.

I want to cry with maxi. she's trying so hard. there's no need for riftan to be so cruel. lol at heb and uly waving enthusiastically. she should cry in front of the knights. watching the rdk be furious with him for hurting her feelings, while comforting her. that should shake riftan a smidge. ugly crying with snot and hiccups and uly holding the handkerchief so she can blow her nose.

Maxi you grew so much to try so hard to talk to hubby instead of just waiting for him to take action! Hang in there girl he’ll come around!

frustrating to see him reject her efforts to talk and I assume he has no idea how sad it makes her but at the same time it's starting to feel like he's punishing her. does he know how hard talking to him is for her?

Wow, so this chatter makes Riftan feel like she didn’t miss him? Or he simply want to forget the fact that his wife is now independent high mage? Or he’s angry cause he wanted to cherish her, but she just keep trying to be the better self? I just don’t know what’s happening in his head, but he’ll better stop thinking that way! It's so sad because Maxi is doing her best to get Riftan's attention but Riftan doesn't appreciate it.How long is he going to treat her that way?! Not even a thank you. He should be proud that his wife has grown mature and learning something worthy. I know that he wants to treat Maxi like royalty, but sometimes you need to accept that Maxi is still a person who wants to be worthy and useful. She's grown stronger. And I am so pretty proud of her.

Although I understand why, It’s too painful read that their relationship is shattered right now but I feel hopeful that Riftan’s coldness attitude towards Maxi is over soon. I want mommy and daddy to be happy again. :(
