Well, it’s really hard to sort your feeling during expedition. No privacy, no time, you’re dirty and tired. He wants to talk to you, but how can he, when you’re surrounded by other mages. You want to talk to him, but how can you, when he’s so busy with all this security and planning stuff. Urgh, so frustrating! And just as we got one nice moment, Ruth showed up. Ok, it’s funny, but don’t tell me that Riftan will play that “what do you want from me, woman?” thing again!

It's a start they love each other. Love is something that grows and changes and has to be won over again. You have to fight for it, work on it and truly want it. An of course Ruth would be there. But don't you know he is pulling for them. They are his family. Everyone of those knights are wanting nothing but good things and happiness for them...

FINALLY. now time to impatiently wait on the next chapter

it's frustrating that they both are hurting but unable to communicate about it. I have a feeling he's going to go back to pretending to be could right after this no matter how great the kiss was. sigh.
