Really nice! Now we know what Riftan means when he tries to warn Maxi about Ruths tendancy for experimental magic 🙌😅 ..and we know that the Mage Tower has knowladge about magic that isn’t suppose to be used outside of there.. so Ruth both is part Elf with super mana affinity and uses forbidden magic outside of Nornui to save Riftans life …this is great!
I've been waiting to read the proper translation of this chapter, as I really want to know if the magic Ruth applied to him, changed the physical constitution of Riftan. but it looks like it didn't make any permanent change other than heal him, because Ruth didn't use any flesh or body parts of the monster to replace the mangled limbs of riftan. he simple used the mana of the monster as he didn't have enough mana himself to perform the regeneration magic.....at least that's what I understand. so, it's basically healing magic, emulating the technique of trolls, but not using any monster parts.....at least that's what I got from it, and there's also going to be more explanation in the next chapter. Also, he wasn't brought back to life or anything(which would clearly be dark magic), but he was saved by the stopping of excess blood loss from severed limbs.......which is an advanced form of healing magic, rather than a dark magic which brings back the dead.....so yeah, it's not something sinister, maybe illegal, but not evil magic. I was nervous ever since I realized how much Kuahel likes to compare riftan to a monster.......he can try to get Riftan and Ruth into trouble using this excuse.
These past few chapters have me on edge. The suspense is intense! ~Ruth reveals he has elven blood. ~Riftan’s life is left hanging on a thread from a fierce battle with an unknown monster. ~Riftan is revived using a grey-area technique based off of troll regeneration. Can’t wait till the next episode. 🫣
