This was so good. It's high time Maxi stood up for herself. All those emotions she bottled up since Riftan brought her there have spilled out. I like how she continued to ignore him. If she didn't show up to the infirmary, Riftan may have thought he was right. The fact that Maxi persisted shows she is serious about healing. Riftan, Riftan please. It's okay to pamper her. But you have never asked her what she truly wants to do. You have always just assumed. The misunderstanding in this book isn't like Chinese translations. It's realistic. Reading the MTLs. I can say this is a great book for those who want to read a story on a proper relationship.
this is me failing to hold it in when she dragged Hebaron into it 😂 this chapter was everything I needed in life. Keep it up, Maxi! this bold and daring new you is AMAZING. I could definitely see the knights all gaining new respect for her because of this. This is totally how she is going to gain that comaraderie with them. They are going to survive wars together, wars against Riftan. 😂 AND every time they fight, the knights are going to take her side.
I feel that there’s another super important thing here. Not only Maxi has grown so much to be able to stand her ground and tell Riftan what she wanted, but also it proves how comfortable she is & how much she trusts him and his love, she now knows he’ll never hurt her like her father did (a thing that not long ago still worried her) and that he loves her enough to put up with her ignoring him and standing her ground. She used to be so worried anything she did wrong would make him abandon her, guess thats not the case anymore 😊😊🙌🏼
