The first half of the chapter was sweet. It's nice that even though he lacks understanding. Riftan does whatever he can to make Maxi feel comfortable, and in return Maxi feels safe. She has someone she can turn to when she is in pain. Now the second half. What on earth is Riftan doing? He must be stupid. Sure people say things in the heat of anger, but that was uncalled for. Maxi is doing her best, to study diligently everyday and practice. Do you have to rub it in her face that the Princess has more experience? She is a princess for goodness sake, of course she will have more opportunities to learn/practice. Whatever she wants she can obtain. Maxi is a duke's daughter. But you've never really asked her how her life was in her fathers castle. Whenever you talked about it, you put words in her mouth and made her out to be a noble lady. Riftan, do you not understand that you have never communicated with Maxi properly since she came here? Maxi is making great progress but Riftan isn't getting very far in terms of character development.
OMG 😂 "The commander's losing." I love it. YOU GO GIRL! I'm so glad she's being more assertive. I can't wait to see how things play out. I really want this to sort of become a normal thing (just normal, not serious, fights where Riftan starts losing) so when the knights and Ruth come back they are super surprised at the change. I NEED a chapter of assertive Maxi and Ruth/Hebaron laughing/making fun of Riftan for losing the fight.
Hahahahaha I know I shouldn’t laugh on this Ep but is funny because I can see Maxi and Riftan fight like a real couple! They are starting to find their own strengths and weakness together as a married couple. I admit that what Riftan said was really uncalled for but it just shows the way he grew up, basically saying what he thinks without care of the other party feelings. Now that he hurt Maxi, I hope he can take time to reflect on himself and the way he addresses the issue. Maxi!!! My girl!!! You finally stood up for yourself 😭😭👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Glad that she finally can see she is worthy of her own value and keep learning more healing magic and keep practicing the runes. I’m excited about the next chapters! They are going to be intense! Hope there is a situation where Riftan gets hurt or sick and Maxi heals him, so he can see that Maxi is a great healer ☺️ and changes his mind. We’ll see what happens next!
