About time Maxi realizes its okay to be attracted to your husband and crave his touch. They still have tons of growing to do, but we are seeing progress. Not as fast paced as I would like, but its realistic. Neither one has ever really had someone to trust and love. If you don’t grow up learning it, it takes even longer to learn.

They are both holding back on what they wish to communicate with each other. Riftan seems to be terrified he will break her, and Maxi seems to finally be getting past some of her insecurity instilled in her by her idiot father.

well at least Maxi realizes she can be attracted to her husband and want him without feeling weird about it. also, ffs Maxi, Riftan said you can do what you want...you can learn more magic if you want to. he isn't gonna stop you.

Yaaasss!!! I loved this chapter!!! Maxi is growing as a person and she is starting to see herself as a beautiful woman 🥰🥰🥰🥰. It’s all thanks to Riftan and how he shows her how beautiful she is, I’m also glad Maxi was able to be honest about her feelings in that heated moment.

This is not the sort of chapter to read on the bus sitting next to one’s husband! Especially not the comments! 🤣

I was so looking forward to the chapter and the writer didn’t disappoint. Maxi certainly stepped out of her comfort zone. Well done. Riftan is so sweet with all his compliments. I wished she would have said something in return. But I guess it will be baby steps for her.

I wish they could be more honest with each other, but they definitely need to work on their communication.
