This chapter suits Cha Eun Woo's OST for Under the Oak Tree! "Don't cry, my love. I'll burn if it means you'll glow". 😭 I'm so glad I read Riftan's POV first. Riftan's actions are easier to understand knowing the depth of his feelings for Maxi.

Ruth my baby, you are the best friend and mentor, maxi could ever wish for! I wish I had a ruth and a riftan in my life! also seems like ruth didnt heal ursuline after the incident out of spite for being mean to his best friend 😂 And dont worry guys, ursuline will change a lot and will have great character development later in the story! it will take him a while but he will warm up to maxi later and ironically become the most protective over her, alongside elliot of all the RDK. he will also apologiez to her for his mean behavior.

If everyone just knew how much Riftan loves Maxi from the very beginning, I bet they wouldnt be that surprised. In Riftan's POV, he said that he wanted to be reincarnated as Maxi's hair so that he can always touch her skin, face and sometimes her lips🥰😢

Maxi wanting to be worthy of Riftan and his love is so strong and pure in this chapter. Riftan has to be a shy boy if he never told the bros how he feels about his wife. then again maybe the other knights are blind because Maxi has that boy lovestoned. Like Riftan is literally bringing carriages and wagons filled with crates of silks golds furs and jewels to Maxi. But the knight are like Riftan and Angus fought over a chicken leg its true love

I have a gut feeling that riffan knows maxi a long time ago,an encounter maybe when they were a child?????Why would he choose her over Princess Agnes or fight the strongest dragon?????

My girl Maxi!! I feel you girl! All those years tormented by her father and the psychological scar left on her, it’s hard to change and see herself in a new light. I’m just glad that she has Ruth with her as a mentor and a friend who doesn’t try to harm her with his words but tries to be as direct and polite as he can. Riftan my BIG LOVE BUG!
