Maxi is with them since months, so by now they all should have realized that Maxi is absolutely not like her father and if Uslin thought that she pretending to be nice, he should have tried to look at her without the hate for her father, then he would have seen that she can not be pretending. Even more so since they also saw Maxi in her drunken state and a drunk person mostly says the truth and Maxi told them why she is so scared and awkward with them.

To everyone who is worried if ricaydo will stay a jerk in the future (careful big spoiler): No! Of all the RDK he gets the most character development and ironically he is the knight alongside elliot who becomes the most protective over maxi! dont want to spoil to much, so lets just say, at one point maxi will do something very brave and dangerous and something very bad happens to her later, while she is trying to safe everyone. this will completly change ricaydos view of her and he will also apologiez to maxi for him being a jerk to her. he has a very well written redemtion arc and literally turns into maxis bodyguard on his own free will at an later point of the story. He is a good man, like the other RDK, but he needs the longest to warm up to maxi, due to his immense hate for her father. but later he realizes how wrong he was and apologiezes for his behavior and becomes one of her fiercest protectors and supporters!

I mad none of the other knights defended Maxi while U.R. was blatantly disrespecting her. But they had no problem jumping in to hold Riftan back 😤 Even if they don't like her, she is Riftan's wife and Lady of the Castle. Such dishonorable men!
