Comments of chapter undefined of Under the Oak Tree

At this point only talking can solve all those misunderstandings, but they're both so scared of their own faults that they can't see how much they love and care for each others. But I appreciated that the author didn't just solve all their problems within a couple of chapters, because that's not how it happens in reality. It takes time, it's painful and they're just at the beginning. They can just improve together, little by little.

I so hope they can figure this out and Riftan will see that Maxi was just trying to be helpful and Maxi will understand why he got so upset. He just wants to treat her like a princess and she just wants to be a good enough noble woman for Riftan

The character developpent is excellent: Riftan is alrealy a great knight, but Maxi has just started discovering her abilities in healing magic. He wants her to just enjoy his wealth but she just want to be uselful. They do love each other but have different goals.

And that's why communication is important! Also, Riftan needs to stop being so dense and realize that the joy that Maxi feels in being "helpful" or "useful" far supersedes any desire to live in "comfort" and being locked in a tower like a princess in blissful ignorance.

why is there so much tension between Ruth and Riftan?? this is about more than just Maxi spending time with him. Something clearly happened between these two that makes them react to eachother this way.

This is the 2nd time he got upset about her piqued interest in magic and tried to shut her down. I wonder what that's about. 🤔
