Idk why but I don't like the way MC's mom overreacted. If push comes to shove MC can just hide or live in her space with them or something (if ML and his power didn't exist) and going out occasionally. Not like MC is an international fugitive that everyone is targeting. Their worries are understandable but way over the threshold honestly.
