all I would say in this is the way you build your sentence is pretty awkward. It doesn't feels natural or rough, unbenefitting of the situation and the person mc talking to

all good but we don't know they appearances, his mom is voluptuous or slender? what is her hair or eye color? she is it tall or small? we only know their names

i dislike when authors are too lazy to describe their character . also why did she abandon the mc ??

The writing is awkward and a bit rushed, but overall the novel seems promising.

what could possibly be a good reason to leave your child behind. I want to hear why she did, how else is the reader supposed to empathize with her? afaik shes scum for leaving her child and abandoning him to a life of trauma, and strife, awhile you live a lavish life.

Author u should start writing ur other novels again like "predator of love".
