I’m late to the comments but I just want to point this out I’ve read meany alternate history novels that’s by Chinese or Japanese authors and one thing that sticks out like a sore thumb is that they are writing it with there own national world view filled with Chinese or Japanese propaganda just like how this novel keep on talking about China this China that China is great at doing this and I get it the mad MC is Chinese but it seems it’s more the aurther then the MC and that’s the reason why most history novels fall like this one
