Ugh, making it a young, pretty, female disciple is already bad enough, but did it have to also go with the 'mysterious background' cliche. Seriously, it's like all the powerful clans or demon beasts in cultivation stories just love throwing their descendants into the trashiest areas of the world. Just make her a normal village girl with slightly above average natural talent. No need for some hidden, locked bloodline or w.e other cliche this is going to be.

Just like all the other novels where the mc is sect master/elder. Their disciples lack discipline, respect. And a complete disregard for the opinions of their master. Not to mention the female disciple, supposedly a women(already acting like a little girl). We have no idea how anything or anyone really looks like, maybe that might change soon.

this particular chapter made me lose interest. Cliche plot development, must cultivation novels always have female disciples around the MCs?
