i don't get why she doesn't just say to them "this woman killed my mother and poisoned my brother to make him believe she was the mother" i feel like even if they didn't care about the mother they would care about her lying to them and plotting against them

Why hide her potential this deeply? Its fine to hide her other elements but is she truly that far below in her dark element or was it her will? If she showed some talent then they will look at her more and she will have more opportunities top milk their help to be stronger. I just feel that by making her super subpar in everything the cons outway the pros and its very stupid
