so, I don't understand his father, like "I need money I'm going to sell the house so my son won't be a knight" then "my son, our ancestors are knights and there were many knights in the past who were very strong, but that ended up that people are too lazy to try bla bla bla" he wants his son to have a different class or is he encouraging his son to strive, he has to decide bro

I can appreciate that the author is trying to build up drama, suspense, and whatever but we have already read in the description that he gets an upgrade system and picks the knight class. The last part of this chapter where he meets and talks to his dad about his family's history as a knight class family and the potential power of the class, could have replaced pretty much all of the previous chapters. Just seems like a waste of a build up. We went through all of that back and forth about a class change scroll (even with his parents) just for him to blow it all off and take the knight class anyway.
