The Knight was right in being cautious and I appreciate that he is not just an unknown character with no personality, And to be honest, this is the first act of the MC that I liked, he was acting as a hero for once, and on top of that he accomplished his goal, he already changed the future of the villainess and she no longer will be shamed because of this incident and the butterfly effect will take of the rest. But, I have to ask, from the brief description of the duke, I can say he is not selfish or power-hungry to let his daughter suffer from all this bad ending, I mean she is the NOBLE daughter of one of the highest-ranking noble and the other heroine is commoner girl without any background, seriously if this is realistic enough then even if she killed the heroine on purpose no one will make a fuss about it, and the five young nobles can't force their parents to act against the duke for the sake of a commoner girl ( they can't that selfless).
