its was a personal opinion n i believe u had that in mind cause like u said u r carving to have it converted into a comic..... well i dont often like that part in comics/manga whatever .......too! n u can add ur shout outs,links n the like after the story in the creaters thought section just above the comment' horizintal bar in that way it does not become a part of the story and also conveys ur message...
