This is so messed up. I’m sorry dear author but I am not liking this story. It’ sad how Leland told Sophie that Nicholas was dead and that is how he made her marry him to protect the children. The thing is he isn’t dead and even now that he knows that Nicholas is alive he doesn’t seem to want to let Sophie know although Sophie has found out. In the end the children do have their father but I’m guessing Leland won’t want them to know their real father. I wish Sophie could be with Nicholas instead of Leland.
Leland thought nic was dead too. he didn't know nic was the prince, and honestly this author wouldn't separate everyone. she has even said they would all end up together. the author just like to have a Rollercoaster before the sweet part. i highly suggest you read her foot notes after chapters and possibly look at comments from the author on previous chapters
