I do like it but the stimpacks dont really follow the lore, same with the common drugs from in game. Stimpacks were used en masse during testing to regrow an arm during their development by using over 20 at once, if they operate the way this novel says that would instead just kill you. Psycho should have a stimulant effect and make someone extremely agitated and jumpy(it uses a mixture of drugs similar to amphetamines and stimulants to increase muscle impulse and dampen pain while lowering higher thought levels and increasing aggression), and jet should drastically increase reaction speed making the world seem like it has slowed down. Psycho induces effects similar to meth and roid rage while jet is a bit more typical of an upper. Both are highly addictive in lore even more so than many modern drugs. The problem is the ones in this novel are showing effects like marijuana or alcohol as downers not uppers or combat drugs. Only booze (or secondary dehydration) from the drugs available in fallout should actually drastically effect aim like what was shown or some of the more esoteric drugs.
