Every time I hear halfling I think of the dnd race and I thought Gray was suddenly going to become 3 ft tall and have pointy ears. Took a minute for my brain to register he was half human half Chronos.

It's just so frustrating to read this chapter. I highly recommend for the author to rewrite this one in a different way which won't necessarily change what happened. Also recommend to stop skipping in between scenes at random. (I think this is the second time, or more)
