well, if Esme finds the milkshake tasting differently for her, I can be suspicious of it, too like her bcs that's what her instincts tell her. But I'd be worried for her if the aftereffects (if there are) would only show up later. They even haven't played any games yet in this battle bar. I honestly feel that Leo DOES have SOMETHING for her but he also knows that he cannot go beyond that with what they have now as being friends and he doesn't want Esme be intimidated or get more elusive than he'd figured out of her.

Its the same thing as with the pie at Grannie’s I think these are human hunters because they put stuff in their food or drink if they find out you’re a supernatural being so they can corner you. Esme found Niko behind Grannie’s and when the lady herself keeps giving her free pie and cake with ”something special” in it but switches out the pie for Human police officer Simon things are very suspicious.
