I think all this time they have lack of good quality of communication. The wife always look cheerful in front of thr husband and made the husband thought she's a strong woman who can cope with his family. The wife also never communicate her real feeling to the husband hoping that he would notice that she's suffering behind the smile. Men only noticed what they heard and see but they have weakness on noticed the hidden signs. While women mostly the opposite. When the wife leave him with luggage, that's when the husband read the clear sign that something is wrong but still dunno the exact thing. It's good he's looking for her directly, I hope they will have good communication later on.
