So it's all but confirmed that she's basically an isekai protagonist with amnesia now. And I love it! The story concept of mixing up the Isekai protagonist and the classic Amnesiac protagonist is straight up genius. Not only does the fact that the protagonist has a limited history in that world make it harder to find answers about their past. But, It also shows a difference of trust in the protagonist. By that I mean that Isekai protagonists are usually outgoing and trustworthy because the genre is primarily used as wish fulfillment, so as a consequence when writing such stories your protagonist are generally more "safe" from a wrighting perspective and thus subconsciously the author is more inclined to make them be outspoken to both explore the world and engage with it. After all, if you're protagonist doesn't go exploring a whole dang fantasy world, that you've built by hand then why even have them.in a fantasy world? And going back to the main Trust point, Amnesiac protagonists usually have a past in a story, and that past usually comes with some struggles. Mainly because it's more interesting from a wrighting perspective. But also from the fact that People just don't get Amnesia. Something in there past is usually the cause of the amnesia, and that usually isn't good. Thus, the protagonist is usually a little less Trusting with other people that could have been responsible for their unfortunate circumstances. This is just my very, long way of saying good on you author.
