The tenderness of the scene is very well written. Body language is more powerful than words. And all together they create such a pleasant feelings about their relationship. Even Chu Yun embarrassment speaking about his love. Sorry, but I have to say it. After being conscious but in coma for considerably long time, with a wound, who is capable to climb over and sit without help? But I could be wrong, and it's just how strong wolfs are in that world.
DaoistqKQt7R:Agree with you. It's could be more dramatic. At one of my favorite chapters Xiao Zai made a wish, that Chu Yun's love confession could be articulated when Chu Yun can't hold it any more. I think that writer missed an opportunity to show how Chu Yun overcome his embarrassment, because he thinks that his love is not coming back. But we can't make suggestions.
I really don't want a redemption arc for Ru Long, he should be seriously punished. I accept Hean's redemption arc purely because of Yun's affection for him, but Ru Long is taking things too far. Maybe he didn't want Zai to die, but this plan was way too cruel, not just for Zai, but for Yun, Gu Wei, Yuan, Ziyi, Nanyi and even Hean and Lieba Chun. All of them have suffered too much because of this!! Maybe not as much Lieba Chun, cause he seems to have gotten out of this better off now Hean's acknowledging his feelings, but things could have gone really badly for him there!! đ¤ It feels like he is trying to collect a blood debt he thinks is owed to him, and the way he's going about it will only cause widespread suffering for everyone. I mean, the Zui people would not be living a good life if those ministers still had the run of the country in Zai and Yuns absense. đ¤ Maybe he's trying to instigate a revolution, or get more betas to leave for Su to weaken the country. That would surely speed up the downfall of Zui. đ It's funny that he hated Xiao An, cause I think he is the most like him!! Cruel, power hungry, uses people, and doesn't care what his actions will do to others! đ Maybe he is Zai's cousin, and managed to inherit the horrible traits of the Zui royal family!!
I think Ru Long is trying to take over Zui, possibly in an invasion of some sort in order to "win" the ruler of the country through war, since his legitimacy needs to be kept secret. It would explain why he kept XZ alive bc having a debilitated ruler would make take over easier and seem more legitimate. Since it seems he knows his heritage is questionable, itd make sense that he'd use the take over of Zui as leverage for keeping his Crown Prince Prince position/succession of Su as well đ¤
