King Eli did tell Alicia that he regrets not being a better brother. He feels guilt over how he did nothing after learning about Sir Zealot's plan for Wilder. If he had stepped in a dealt with Zealot then there is high chance that Wilder wouldn't have died. Even though the brothers were not close, they were still brothers. Eli lost the last family he had. The queen and her family were never his choice. He found some solace in Maria, then lost her too. Probably not more than a year after he lost Wilder. He tried to do his best for Harold, but failed. The only son he truly cared about and he had to see him suffer from such a horrendous curse for most of his life. Harold could not even sleep properly. The three children (now we know it was two) he had with Arya were bred out of obligation. Just as he married Arya out of obligation. The only woman of his choice was Maria. Naturally, he favored her more. And the child he had with her, that was also his choice. Such a shame that he didn't do right by any of them. I'm sure he did care for Harry since he was his first and as a new father, he paid attention, somewhat. Ivan and Tyra he ignored. He already had a Beta son; the second one didn't excite him. As for the Omega, he cared even less. Even Harold, whose birth, according to Queen B, he was thrilled about, he didn't take good care of him. Harold lost his nanny and Queen B jumped at every opportunity to make him feel lonely and unwanted. Bad father. He's always been too indifferent. Even when his family and kingdom are in a state of choas, he doesn't step in and do what is right. This is a job he never wanted and he hates his life because of it. He has hope where Harold is concerned because he knows his son is very different from him. It's why he told Alicia that he's glad Harold was able to protect her. His son did not fail the way he did.

Beth, Queen Anne, Queen Darcy, Matilda, Susan, Lady Avery, the witch clan, Prince Harry, Prince Wilder, Sir Zealot, Sir Wilson and his wife, Maria and many of the people from her village, Sir Rager's wife, Harold's nanny, the guards that Harold killed over Alicia's torture, Agnes's mother, the royal guards that set fire to Sir Wilson's home, some of Sir Wilson's house servants, Leah, the guards that Wilder killed to protect Anne and her family, Wilder's previous victims, previous king, many noblemen and court members that died due to the first curse, the victims from the first conflict with the witches, the men that attacked Harold, Alicia and Alvin when they were returning from their first trip, Damian's men from their attempt to break into the inn, that court member whom Alvin threw a dagger at.....am missing anyone?
