Welcome back Author. It’s always something I look forward to whenever you update. Sadly as I move away from this app more and more I just stop checking. Safe to say you’re the only reason I still have it. So thank you for giving this story to look forward too. In case you forgot I’m your inquisitive stat boy reader that always has questions to ask.
I really appreciate you're comments! I do have these bursts of guilt for neglecting this story especially when I read comments such as yours. I love the passion, and I'm glad I was able to provide such a rich experience for you. I don't plan to ever drop this story, thought as you would've noticed, the update rate is extremely slow. I plan to pick it up again, changing a lot for the next region, since I know I would go back and change a lot of things. It doesn't really feel like Pokemon anymore, it's gotten out of hand. So if I do ever get to the next region, I plan on grounding it more, making simpler. I hope you'll stick around, and I appreciate the support. Much love.
W2Nerdy:I could probably go on and on about all the memories I have of reading this fic. Obviously I don’t remember everything. Yet for some reason I have all the designs and images you’ve shared in my head (I keep forgetting to go over Arcanine with blue). Like Scizor’s weird (in my opinion design) or the Huge mecha Godzilla steelix. I think I first picked up this fic when Rex still had a Machop and we were approaching gyms. Obviously they were easy. Rex always had a way with strategy. Also how he doesn’t want to rely on pure muscle all the time. It’s definitely a better approach then what I do, especially in Pokémon uranium (My Yatagarasu remains unchallenged). Even though Chapters have gotten less frequent it’s still always the same. I know you got inspiration from Journey towards greatness. If I recall we discussed how we both think it fell off after Sinnoh. (Gengar was always my favorite of Julian’s Pokemon) Yet in my eyes you have long since surpassed the peak of Journey towards greatness. I don’t know if that means anything to you anymore, I hope it does. I used to feel excited to read. Anything in general really, since then that excitement has fizzled out. Not just for reading. For everything really. Yet, whenever I come back here I feel that way again. You may not remember me but you and your work will always remain in my memories. Your way of writing has grown a lot. You’ve gotten better at so much. I’m so glad to have followed you on your journey. If we ever get there I can’t wait to go on the road to challenging Arceus. If we don’t at least we’ll have memories of our time together. Sincerely stat boy.
