I have read some really good, really intense books in my days... But nothing tips this book, especially these last few chapters. I thought it was crazy when Zev was trying to get Sasha to Thana safely, that was nothing compared to this!! I'm seriously on edge right now lol, though I wouldn't trade it for the world. It breaks my heart that Yhet had sacrificed himself to help them and avenge his dead mate. I hope he wreaks havoc on those humans and goes out peacefully, he has a beautiful soul. God help Zev, Sasha their son, and all the other chimera through this crazyness and make it safely to their new home.
You have to think from these female's POV for a second. This wretched place is probably all they know and then a male comes to 'rescue' them. Instead of them just being scared, I'm l proud that they told Lhars they thought he was a trap. Is Jhon and the other male going to rescue Vayl and the others? I forgot the other male's name. Is it Dunken? I'm actually glad that Yhet is sacrificing himself. Hear me out. For one, he wants to help the Chimera by creating a distraction so they can get these females out. Two, he wants to get some revenge on the humans for killing his mate. Finally, he's dying anyway so why not go out with a bang and help your friends instead of just wasting away? It's been hard to see that Yhet has been hurting without his love and he just wants to go reunite with her. All the way back in chapter one, Yhet is who drew me into this book in the first place. I'm gonna miss all these characters but Yhet will always hold a special place in my heart 💔 This is the first and only book that i know of that has a Yeti/Sasquatch in it. Like I said way back then, Aimee, I'm not surprised that you were the author of a story with a character like that. You did an amazing job with this book like you have with ALL of your books. Your talent and imagination are awesome. You should be so proud of yourself. I'm so proud to be a fan and a member of your tribe ❤️❤️❤️ Yes, I'm crying 🤣
