Also, we're on Chapter 1167...how much longer is this going to be a plotline? This weakened state that Liam is in and always being debilitated. I feel like this shouldn't have happened here as he was using items to generate nether and not his own nether core. If you're looking at the body as a "piping" system or circuitry and you have two opposing liquids or energy in this system I can understand the backlash...but all the skills described that he used should have been mana based therefore throughout this fight his body handled mana alone. Not mana and nether together (especially if the earrings were creating the nether swirls). So I don't think he should have suffered the backlash at this point in time. My solution to the problem would be to use Nature energy as like an internal coating on the mana and nether pathways. Since nature encompasses life, creation, death and decay it should work as a balancing force between mana and nether or maybe a protective barrier/filter that keeps the nether from harming Liam's body.
