CORNBRINGER
These last two chapters have just felt... boring? Idk it seems like they should be good but this one felt like it had that 'run berry run' cheap kids series logic for sudden power boost like in the flash. I just found it hard to care about anything that happened in the chapter, probably because I don't really care about Sif, she is the current main love interest but most of their interactions happen off-screen. Which is both a good and a bad thing. Good so the chapters aren't bogged down by romance stuff, bad because it makes it hard to care about her. When it was a 'maybe she'd die' in this chapter I couldn't really care less.
Cheap chapter. If all Beyonder is hoping for is to create an adversary I guess he’s doing an impeccable job… I hate his Beyonder’s personality. I don’t remember much about the character in general but I guess those whose powers are reaching the summit of marvel all have eccentric tendencies and psychological traits which are hard to fathom. In all fairness it’s understandable that such an existence might not be capable of retaining their humanity after losing that which tethered them to it. It’s a matter of perspective. Pros and cons of immortality and semi omnipotence I guess…
