Yo author i dont know why are you making it seem that the hindu pantheon is that terrifying as i dont think they are that strong. If they were that strong then there would be no need of other pantheons.
About the weapon that Thor will forge:
It won't be a sword or a spear or anything like that, I was thinking of something inspired by the Astra: Sudarshana Chakra, with the design of the Yautja Shuriken.
I will now establish:
Enkidu and Gilgamesh's designs will be the most faithful to mythology!
There will be NO genderbender!!!
HOWEVER...

Gilgamesh can always have female descendants... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I still don't understand why you put rhetorical questions in the middle of the story, honestly the only thing they do is take you out of the immersion of the story more than help
I don't like how you made Thor's character into a soyboy as the chapters went on. I hoped to see him more cold and indifferent, instead of a common-grade chuuni protagonist who uses the power of friendship...
What's the point of having the hammer if your just going to make something else? You made it out to where Thor couldn't calm down until he had his hammer and now it's useless because it isn't awake.
I know its cliche but an axe would be better. That way it doesnt have to be abandoned later. One hand hammer one hand an axe.
Or maybe a warpick style with a hammer on the other end.
Why other weapon? Go bare!!
I find unarmed fighting the most exciting, the most versatile, and the best to train, cause you don't depend on anything, only in your true power.
