I'm one of those who are against makino in the crew but I'm going to keep reading ignoring his parts. But to make you understand why I think like this tell you it's like if you make doflamingo or lucci join luffy's crew in the original version, it's strange limit unnatural because their vision oppose. I feel the same for makino she is not young anymore and she is not a fighter and even if you give her something to fight it will be weird. So as you are frustrated that some people have left because of this as I am frustrated though I will continue to read. After that it's still your fanfiction you do it the way you feel
