Love how you're managing the butterflies in this - far too many fanfics forget about the repercussions of their characters actions and just follow the plot as originally designed. ... I kinda hope he goes on a 9-tail rampage through the bathroom in his fox form to break into the chamber. I know it would be all kinds of bad for him, but it'd let him act immediately and it'd be kind-of hilarious for the teachers to chase a fox through Hogwarts right to the entrance of the chamber.
