Author you say 5 or 6 I thought just the 4 were enough at least the way you portray her it seem that way and as far a Xiao Hua well her attitude in general doesn't seem to match with the other 4 mers. which makes me believe there won't be peace in that household

I think it depends on how he behaves in the story, only if he changes his attitude towards the principal and her husbands

I dont mind the mc having more husbands 6, 7, 10, 15, 20? yes I remember how the story got two gossipers saying how many women got like 20 to 30 husbands, but before she gets more I think she needs to move out fro, the village and find a more stable business. like partner up with more people who has already a name and/or come from prestige family. I would want her to be in the city and then move to the capitL and she expand her business. heck, I would want to see some of her spouses to be from a middle class family and maybe even include a male husband instead of just having all mer husbands. I think she will need to increase her status and that will lead her to meet more people from different background and have husbands from different places.

I like 6 husbands. One for each night and a night to hang out with the kids after she gets better with story time. He does need a bit of change in atti .tude
