why does this novel have the vibe of " madam, you've been uncovered"?????

I kind of feel sorry for father Fang. It looks like he cares about her. He's actually trying to do right for a kid who is not biologically his. I think had he known about her beforehand, he would have wanted her to live with them. No blood ties, but he even would have put aside the marriage for her. I hope that he doesn't change, and that this doesn't turn into a revenge only novel.

It’s rare reads stepfather being good to step daughter and try to have good communication & relationships with her. Too bad her biological mother really annoying and unreasonable. Hope his kind action really pure not only for show
