Ridiculous. When you're strong, what's the problem with others getting nervous? If the village comes under attack, he can simply annihilate the other side. Now he leaves konoha on the premise that he is dead, kurenai would already have a child with asuma when he returned. This kind of indecisive, hero-complex MC disgusts me (hero-complex because it thinks of konoha when it's strong enough to defend it from all villages, just ridiculous).

The author is already 35 chapters ahead, if you think your opinions are going to change anything at this point, think again. Reactions are amplified when chapters are drip fed. Unfortunately this is common.

I honestly don’t think his decision was too bad, while it irks me that no one knows the truth of what happened. It’s an unbelievable opportunity because his looks kinda changed. With this he can infiltrate the akatsuki and take down black zetsu’s plan. Hopefully black zetsu gets taken out as well. However, I think he wont be able to do it untio the war. that’s just my guess, curious what direction the author wants to go from here. Thanks for the chapters!

I think this is the right direction otherwise things would be boring just staying in the village or finding some excuse to leave the village. You also bring up a good point of people becoming very shaken after hearing 3rd hokage tried to kill Konoha hero. (he is kind of like Itachi)
