Okay, a lot to unpack again… Firstly, Letha knew the fox and is older than the fox clearly. She found the fox, named it (again) and sort of took it in as a companion. This makes any future interactions with the fox very interesting. Letha clearly has seen much of the outside world at this point if she spent her 6000 years wandering as such. The most puzzling part is we have a large gap between present time and this past time and somewhere in there, Letha has developed short term memory loss. I suspect this memory loss may be a coping mechanism for the amount of information she can store in her brain. 6000 year life is pretty nuts. Maybe she got cursed? Maybe she suffered a traumatic incident that caused her to forget everything. Though I doubt these theories considering the nature of a Phoenix. I really can’t wait to see if she gets her memory back and what future interactions will be like with knowledge of the outside world and with her fox companion.
