I've actually periodically experienced this forever. When i got older i learned that it's probably in part because i'm neuro-divergent. I've found that if food disgusts you or freaks you out or you just have no appetite, one of the best things to do is eat soft food. Mousse, yoghurt, custard/pudding, smoothie bowls, chia pudding, ice cream or even smoothies and weird milkshakes like peanut butter and banana. If you can stomach that work up to adding fruit and nuts until you can deal with eating a sundae or something. Food depression is weird but i'm sure at least somebody you know in your personal life has known about it or has it. I hope the advice helps and i hope you feel better soon ❤️❤️
