20th Century Boy in the world of HxH [Dropped]

This was a project I tackled for a year, and I decided to drop it. I learned quite a bit from it and while I don't like the fact I didn't make it to the end, I am happy with I managed given I am not the best nor fastest writer out there. If you are interested in reading then go ahead I suppose, but it abruptly ends before the climax of the Yorknew arc. Also if you want to "adopt" this fic than go ahead, jsut credit me in your description Having found out the term 'bureaucratic hell' is a quite apt description of the afterlife, our protagonist gets transmigrated into the world of hunter x hunter with the powers of magenta-magenta from JoJos. AN: Hello! I am a new author but have been on the webnovel platform for a while so I hope I do not disappoint with my story. If you have any possible ideas for fixes or story elements please leave a comment or review! Finally, I surprisingly do not own HXH, JoJos or other copyrighted material (Crazy I know). On another note: this fic is a self correcting endeavor, story elements and decisions made near the beginning are pretty rough. Honestly, if i had the time I would do a whole rewrite but I decided to make newer chapters better as I went. Thats why if you notice the mc follows the plot at the beginning, or is inconsistent, makes no real changes to the plot I am aware of this. I have been trying to get better as I go but if that isnt your cup of tea then thats fine.

Photographs of hobby stuff

An: (does that apply here this isn't really a chapter?) anyways, thanks for waiting as I took a break everyone! I said before that I was going to tackle a lot of unbuilt or unpainted minis that I haven't gotten around to this week as a personal hobby goal. I know 40k has grown in popularity so some of you may know what all this is and want to take a look at what I've done. Everyone else can just wait till the regular release tomorrow… or technically later today as I have stood up all night finishing off a few models.

Give me a bit to post all the photos after I upload this alright?

Skorpion Destroyer:

This guy was painted early on when I didn't know what I was doing so I recently stripped it down but there are still some tough paint chips or missing parts that are a bit unsightly. I also didn't finish the skitarii vanguard onboard as I later plan to finish him to a better standard when I start batch painting my infantry

Onager Dunecrawler:

This is my second one I painted but the other is rather unsightly as it was part of a start collecting box when I first started the hobby in 8th edition. I completely ruined the rangers I built and the one crawler's details are clogged with paint. So I was really happy to have a nice one to play with when I impulsively picked up a combat patrol box. Also this one wasn't painted in my one week break, as the minor conversions and painting process would have otherwise taken up most of my time.

Skitarii Rangers:

This was my second attempt at painting these guys, and I learned you have to paint everything in sub assemblies to get a decent result in my opinion. One regret I have is that I converted the bases a bit to much making them iffy in tournament play, but I'm more of a casual and rule of cool person so who cares? That and I never brightened the color of the cloaks, it's a bloodangels red contrast and I didn't know how to edge highlight at the time.

HQ's:

I squeezed in some work in progress models and forgot a converted engineseer but these five minis are a pretty decent show of my progress as a painter. The dominus was my first ever mini unless you count a benchi I painted off my 3D printer. I decided to keep it as is despite the fact I'd love a nicer looking one as they are very good on the table. The engineseer was my first go at highlights and blending colors which was fun to experiment with. The two cybernetica datasmiths don't really count as hq's and I'll speak about them a bit later. Kawl in the background is a recent undergoing and mistake, i wanted to try a contrast over a zenithal for the first time but I glued him all up… not the most fun experience painting him which is why he remains mostly unfinished.

Kastellan Robots 2x:

I really like these guys, their design is really clunky in a fun way and a breath of fresh air to paint without the ten thousand cables and purity seals every other unit has. I finished up all four robots this week and made one unit more weathered and chipped whilst the other is a more basic paint job. I also converted one a little bit… which reminds me now that I still have to airbrush the osl on the shoulder mounted light :/ anyways, the two datasmiths are pretty nice. I learned to highlight the folds in the robes and got a lot better with painting one the converted one where I made a power sword and did a decent human face with an actual eye instead of glowy lenses.

Ironstrider Ballistari and Sydonian Dragoon:

I like these models and how they play but boy are they fragile. Look at them with a stern look and another antenna will snap off. Even when I recite the proper canticles in blessed binary and burn the holy oil :( moving on, the one with a cork base was another one of my earlier models I repainted while the Dragoon is a new purchase . While I haven't finished the riders the mounts themselves are finished up.

Knight Dominus (or is it Castellan?):

I wanted a forge-world knight (the tall lanky one) but didn't want to pay for one and I have a fdm printer not an sla one, so I instead lowered my expectations and went for a questoris!…. Which was sold out at the time leading me to get this thing. (And then gw re-released the chainbreaker lance that was only $40 more the day after D: ) I also picked up some third party pieces to give this guy some extra height. It was fun to do but I need to finish the guns sometime. And while this was not a project I completed during my week it was a consideration to paint up the plasma coils and other lights with an airbrush sometime this week.

Serebys Raiders:

I painted these guys this week and it was really fun! I like the lever gun versions of their galvanic rifles and the big ass revolver. Was considering buying the cowboy hats from a third party and converting the alpha into a Gyro cosplayer essentially as part 7 has always been my favorite JoJo's part. Doing the power saber was also fun and I liked the mecha doggos!

Primaris intercessor squads:

Love the sculpts and hate the lore, I dipped my toes into space marines with these guys. I originally planned on making imperial fists as I loved their lore and look but quickly realized after one test model that I should forget about it. Afterward I picked my second favorite loyalist chapter of the Dark Angels. Don't know much about their lore besides the few bits in tts… but I like their looks and exclusive models. Apparently they are very competitive? I justify it by pointing out my main army is constantly bottom tier with brief spikes of being top tier. (Unlike Iron hands fans who were "always in love with the chapter" despite their army ending up on ebay after a recent nerf) tangent aside, they were fun and relaxing to paint and allowed me to use painting techniques that wouldn't fly with my admech. I ended up painting ~5 and building the rest as I forgot to prime enough power packs when I painted the first squad this week.

Random pictures:

These are things like all my stuff assembled (notice all the unfinished servitors that I just don't like) or painting stands for all my infantry etc.

Thats all I guess…. I need to go to bed so I can actually get you a chapter in like 14 hours from now.
