Why is it taking so long for new chap ters. I have spent a ton of money

I think it’s really upsetting that we spend our money to purchase privileged chapters and still don’t get to read the books properly. This is becoming so expensive to enjoy reading the book and it’s disappointing to see that this is allowed on this app. I purchased privilege for this book since the beginning of this month. My privilege will expire in a few hours and I didn't get to read beyond the 7 additonal chapters as the author didn't update the book at all this month. When you contact customer service they tell you that in order to read to chapter 1065 you should purchase the highest tier of privileged chapter, meaning its all about the money.How is that possible? How can that be allowed? It’s just a waste of money on my part as I didn’t benefit at all of my purchase. Instead, it was just a stressful experience of refreshing the book everyday to see if it has been updated. it's such a shame as I really appreciate and spent more money than if I purchased a published book because the story got me hooked but recently it feels difficult to enjoy it because there are questions about the author's motive for not updating as well as the app unwillingness to hold the author accountable on regular updates on behalf of the readers.

when I started reading this book I was hooked I think am going to delete the app this is the only book I'm reading on here anyway and I have spent a lot of money then they let the author treat people like a bank well this bank is closed
