im really curious what Ryu learned about his OP Soul, and i hope it was a pretty huge powerup, otherwise, if there is no plot armour, i have no idea how will Ryu kill Peak World Sea experts (with the standards of the True Martial World, not Sacrum, which im sure the MG have), and Sky Gods (be them from Sacrum or those with the strength of a SG in the TMW).
