I'm really against these decisions to separate characters who are in a relationship. Not the idea of separating, but because when they meet again they still love each other like they've never been apart. There's a reason why long-distance relationships rarely work, without contact feelings gradually cool down. I was even accepting the idea of them splitting up because they are connected by bond. However, if Misty undoes the bond I will find it very incongruous for her to continue to love the MC while being away from him without any kind of contact. Especially considering that they probably won't go for just a few months without seeing each other. So far I've only seen the web novel The Rise Of The Black Plain have enough maturity to deal with the separation of characters who are in a relationship, in the case of this novel they end the relationship and decide to see what happens when they meet again. Of course, I know the authors don't take a realistic solution because most readers can't stand the idea of someone who was romantically involved with the MC hooking up with someone else. However, I think it's absurd to believe that someone can maintain feelings by staying years apart without any kind of contact, when you will be experiencing new emotions, meeting new people and gaining new experiences.
Although, it's insanely expensive to read stories on this app and I wish y'all would just write a book that I can read uninterrupted, this is the furthest I've read of anyone's. Here's my advice, I like when authors stay true to themselves and not pander to others opinions. Sometimes trying to please your fans can ruin the flow of a story. Write it how you want and if others don't like it then they can reimagine it in their own heads the direction they want. As I've said, so far it's the longest I've read any on this app.....👍🙂
