After how the MC was treated during his childhood, the brother still wonders why he denies his family? And the dilemma about being a hero was as cringe as it could get. Insisting that he should just leave if he wasn't a hero was suggesting the fact that only heroes can have morals. The brother is treating the MC like an idiot by presenting this argument and explaining the truth about their family like he was some wise monk or something. Anyone knows you don't have to be a hero to help others.
The way author is now justifying the family is dumb and stupid tbh. And the MC is so passive,and have too much positivity and love for his family despite the things that the family did to him. I am sure soon enough the author will give a reason for his grandfather and sister behaviour too. I will read a few more chapter and if things keep going like this I will drop it.
