I always thought that they are simply stupid for not cultivating in the canon its the same and they pay a price before OG nei li came from future they still didn't cultivate they can only became a burden LOL

I get wanting to cultivate a defensive physique, but should eventually cultivate a stealth/assassin physique as well to take full advantage of the blessing's power to hide from all. It'd be highly suspicious otherwise to not have a cover story for why no one can divine him and why the heaven's never seem to react to them.
