Shrek to further cripple Tang san and make more connections like Ning rongrong and the like heaven dou is useless considering that they only allow nobles of the heaven dou empire and star dou is military and prioritizes its rulers and they would problably think he is a spy if he came from heaven dou and wouldn't accept him Shrek is the best choice that's also why it often is used in fan-fics even if the authors and mc's hate Tang san because everyone in it is talented you could make connections with the seven treasures tiles pagoda the dai and zhu family from the star dou empire and/or steal Ning roaring and zhu zhuqing because of their talent usefulness ,beauty,etc. is too much to list everything as to why choose Shrek but it's the best choice you could even make Flanders(don't know if that is right) resent tang san and yu xiaogang and if Tang san and yu xiaogang weren't liked and trusted by everyone in Shrek there is literally no way for them to become so highly appreciated and get the herbs from dugu bo's garden which helped them

Why should he go to some academy? I do not undestood why every author have to have school arc. Academy is for people to study there or in fantasy to get resourcers. MC have all knwolege he need and to cultivete he need minerals which he cant get in academy. So he should make some organization or travel and get rare minarals. And if you must go to agademy than go there to make some political conection.
